Wimp 2 Warrior (W2W), the Australian mixed martial arts training phenomena created by MMA Coach Richie Cranny, is taking a strong hold in both Europe and North America as its life changing fight camp program builds strongly upon its passionate follower base. In a direct move to solidify their global expansion, Wimp 2 Warrior (W2W) has fortified their leadership team with veteran MMA and combat sports executive Scott Viscomi being named President, North America and legendary coach, John Kavanagh (SBG) expanding his duties to now serve as President, Europe; the announcement was made today by W2W CEO, Nick Langton.
Langton said, “We have spent the last several years growing our business and partnering with the most elite training centers in combat sports. Thousands of people with little context for MMA have signed up for our program and participated in a transformative experience that allows them to learn a skillset while achieving things they never though possible. Both Viscomi and Kavanagh will be armed with significant budgets to create co-branded marketing strategies for existing partnerships geared towards increasing gym census throughout their respective territories, as well as aggressively increase overall awareness of the program to attract new partners in untapped markets and regions. Each will immediately start building a sales team focused on omni channel marketing functions to aggressively expand W2W’s footprint with brands, focusing on more in-depth integrations for potential and existing partners, while enhancing the user experience for those who sign up for the transformative program.
Wimp 2 Warrior is ready to get involved in sponsorship opportunities for high profile fighters both in and out of the cage where that is an organic fit for all parties, as well as branded partnerships with highly visible MMA promotions that have a proven track record of appealing to hardcore MMA fans and cross audiences.
Beyond the above stated details, as President, North America, Viscomi will focus on growing, monetizing and marketing Wimp 2 Warrior throughout North America and furthering W2W’s mission of becoming the fitness destination for the novice of all ages looking to explore the virtues of learning martial arts.
This includes growing the company’s existing slate of top-tier partners in North America highlighted by Montreal’s Tristar (Firas Zihabi), Long Island’s LAW MMA (Chris Weidman, Ray Longo), San Francisco’s El Nino Training Center (Gilbert Melendez), San Jose’s AKA Training Center (Javier Mendez),SBG Portland (Matt Thornton) and more.

With his guidance, Wimp 2 Warrior has seen thousands of men and women come through program since its inception in the UK and Ireland.
Within his new position President, Europe, Kavanagh will now be charged with accelerating growth into other European territories while solidifying its stronghold throughout the U.K and Ireland. This includes building sales, marketing and promotional campaigns (that support Kavanagh’s reputation) to organically attract new partners and opportunities for gyms that recognize the revenue streams the Wimp 2 Warrior program brings to the table while doubling as an the entry point for people to marry fitness and training while creating a life changing experience.
